* The anonymization of the IP address happens server-side. The last two digits are replaced by zeros. Example: the complete IP address 192.168.999.99 in the "Access Log" becomes the anonymized IP address 192.168.0.0 - this provides sufficient anonymization in order to prevent any conclusions to the website's visitor.
